The first photo was taken for me a few years ago by my penfriend, Keiran Kenny - an Australian living in Den Haag, Holland. He took the photo with an 'ordinary' camera, and sent the photo by snail mail... long before I started 'Internetting.' I scanned the photo with a handheld scanner... not easy!

All the other photos were taken for me by an Internet friend, Peter van Bernhoven. Peter lives in Rijswijk. He and his wife, Mirjam, cycled about 30 kilometres to take these photos... with a digital camera... and I had them via email the next morning! (pretty amazing... especially when you consider that we are 8 hours ahead of Holland...!)
